PLANS for the £34 million new Inverness Royal Academy project will be on display this week.

A drop-in public exhibition is being held at the Culduthel Christian Centre, Inverness, between 3pm- 7pm on Wednesday.

This is a "pre-application consultation" in which the proposals are shared with the public, so that comments at this stage can be considered by architects before formal planning applications are submitted.

Members of the project team will be in attendance to answer any queries, and the deadline for responses is November 11.

A Highland Council spokesman said: "This is an opportunity for anyone to comment on the current proposals before applications are made."

In addition, the proposed plans will be available after the meeting on the council’s website.
