Weather damage closes Banff Academy

Banff Academy has closed for today due to damage caused by the weather.

The school has put up a message on its website to notify parents and others of the closure.

It states: "Due to structural damage caused by the adverse weather conditions the school will be closing early today.

"Buses will collect pupils at 12.30pm.

"If pupils have difficulties contacting home they must speak to their Year Head.

"Sorry for any inconvenience caused."
