Urgent road works lead to closure of A920 at Ellon near Mains of Esselmont

To allow us to undertake urgent road surfacing works, Aberdeenshire Council have now closed the A920 between Riverside Road, Ellon and Mains of Esslemont for five days with immediate effect.

Access will be provided for vehicles requiring access to properties but this may be subject to delay until the road is cleared of construction plant to allow safe passage

As the council cannot divert traffic onto roads which are not suitable for larger vehicles, the diversion route is via Riverside Road, B9005 (Aberdeen), A90 (Aberdeen), B9000 (Pitmedden), B999 (Pitmedden) and A920 (Ellon).
