The partial street closure is expected to be in place until Wednesday.

MOTORISTS are being reminded of the partial closure tonight (Friday) of Invergordon High Street for six days.

A section of the street will be closed to vehicles between 6pm tonight and 11.59pm on Wednesday (March 27).

The part affected by the closure is between the Castle Road junction and the Mackay Street junction. The closure is necessary to allow resurfacing of the road.

All access by vehicles to the affected section of road, including for parking, will be prohibited. Pedestrian access to shops and other properties will be maintained at all times.

Diversion routes via Castle Road/Joss Street/Munro Street and the B817 will be signposted. Alternative parking is available in nearby streets and car parks.

The Highland Council has been liaising with affected businesses in advance of the works, and apologises for any disruption caused.
