Norse heritage subject of Timespan talk

THE Norse heritage of the Far North is to be discussed at a talk tomorrow.

Director of the Centre for Nordic Studies at UHI Orkney and Shetland College Dr Donna Heddle will visit Timespan, a museum and art centre based in Helmsdale.

The talk, entitled “From the fury of the Norsemen, dear Lord, deliver us: Re-evaluating the Norse legacy in the North of Scotland”, starts at 7.30pm.

Entry costs £2 and includes a refreshment.
