A96 in Huntly closed in both directions after crash

A section of the A96 has been closed in both directions after a crash.

The road has been shut in Huntly - beside Asda - after a crash that happened near the turn-off towards the town’s Tesco store.

A helicopter - from charity Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance - was seen overhead after the incident, which happened shortly after 10.30am today.

Traffic Scotland has advised road users to use an alternative route and expect longer than normal journey times.
