A ROSS-SHIRE housing society has been surveying almost 3,000 householders across the Highlands to find out if tenants are happy with their homes and their neighbourhoods.

Tenants are also being asked where they think improvements could be made in the service delivered by Invergordon-based Albyn Housing Society.

Albyn tenants are being urged to complete and return as many of the annual survey forms as possible in order that they can help shape future services for their communities.

To thank tenants for taking part, each completed survey will be entered into a prize draw and four winners will receive £50.

Chief executive of Albyn, Calum Macaulay, said: "Feedback from this survey is crucial in helping us structure how we deliver our services across the Highlands, from Bettyhill to Laggan.

"It’s important we collect as many completed surveys as possible. Responses really will help shape future communities.

"We want to find out if our tenants are happy with their homes and neighbourhoods and where improvements can be made. Tenants will have much more of a direct and positive impact on shaping our services in their communities by working in conjunction with us."

Surveys have been sent to all residents electronically and by post and all responses will remain completely confidential. The housing association has employed the services of an independent market research company meaning it will only receive a report on the overall views of residents, as opposed to individual tenant or owner responses.

Any tenants requiring help with completing the questionnaire can call Kirsty Martin at Research Resource on (0141) 641 6410.

More information about the survey can be found at: www.albynhousing.org.uk.
