And now, one of their cooking based thematic challenges has lead the pair to an astounding revelation in the history of an iconic food.

As they explain: “Not only have we rewritten the early history of the burger with actual references that pre-date any found by scholars and authors before, but we have also been able to source a comprehensive and factual timeline that is impossible to discount.

“As if changing history wasn’t enough, we have completely rebuilt the dish and created the perfect burger.”

As Ollie noted; “What started as a simple adventure trying to build the perfect burger has turned into an absolutely mammoth can of worms. The more research we’ve done on this the deeper down the rabbit hole, we’ve gone. In fact we've now been compiling data on the true origins of the burger for almost a year.”

They examine five assumptions about the burger and draw their own conclusions including - Every current claim regarding the historical timeline of the burger is incorrect; Most people have technically never eaten a Hamburger and the hamburger isn’t an American invention at all!

Harry added: “We’ve opened up a real can of worms and uncovered references that have been completely missed by authors and food historians this is going to completely rewrite what we know about the burger.”
