A charity raffle which blossomed from a grateful customer raised £325.

After hearing of the kind act, businesses in Turriff united to support the fundraiser, with money raised being split between Friends Of Turriff Cemetery and the British Red Cross's efforts in Ukraine.

In total seven prizes, including vouchers and hampers, were claimed when the winners were drawn by local British Red Cross volunteers on Monday afternoon.
