WOOD (nee Cowie) Isabella, died peacefully, at the New Victoria Hospital, Glasgow, on Tuesday, 4th August, 2020, aged 82, after a long illness, beloved daughter of Denis and Christina Cowie of Buckie and Portknockie (both deceased), sister Christine and brother William. She will be sadly missed.

ADAM Peacefully at Dounemount Care Home, on Wednesday, 29th July, 2020, Samuel (Sammy/Sam), aged 76 years. A much loved brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Sam will be missed by all who knew him. Funeral arrangements private due to current restrictions.

HAY - (Buckie). Peacefully, at his home, with his loving family by his side, on Monday, 27th July, 2020, Charles (Charlie), formerly of Cathcart Garage, aged 87 years. Beloved husband of the late Pearl Mayne, dearly loved, treasured dad of Sandra, father-in-law of Ian, proud granda of Amy and her fiancé Daniel, loving brother, brother-in-law, uncle and a very dear friend of many. Regrettably funeral private due to current health guidelines.

BALHARRY - (Whitehills). Suddenly, but peacefully, at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, on Friday, 24th July, 2020. Ross, aged 74 years. Devoted husband to Anne, much loved dad to Lesley, Craig and Fiona, proud grandad of Dylan, Ellie, Isla, Erin, Anna and Violet and a very dear brother, brother-in-law and friend to many. Will be much missed by us all. Sadly, due to the Government directives, the funeral arrangements are private.

PALMER (Huntly). Peacefully with her daughter by her side, on Wednesday, 22nd July, 2020, Elizabeth (Betty) nee Duffus, aged 91 years, beloved wife of the late Bernard, much loved mum to Michelle and step-mum to Ann and Tina, cherished grandmother to Ian, Lisa, Natasha, Robert, Connor, Declan and Daniel, treasured great-grandmother, loving daughter of the late John and Elizabeth, also a dear sister to the late Jean and Philip. Due to current restrictions Betty's funeral will be private.

THOMSON (Dummuie). Peacefully, with his family by his side, at Rothieden, Huntly on Tuesday, 21st July, 2020, George, aged 94 years, beloved husband of Margaret, much loved dad to Bruce and Iain, loving father-in-law to Aiko and Kathryn, cherished grandad to Anna, Sam, Carolyn and Andrea, also a dear brother, uncle and friend to many. Due to current restrictions George's funeral will be private.

CAMERON (Huntly). Passed away suddenly at home, on Saturday, 18th July, 2020, Ian Duncan Cameron BVMS, MRCVS, aged 84. Dearly beloved husband of Jean (Shand) much loved dad to Donald, Euan, Jane, Sally and Ian, beloved granda to Peter, Kate, Karen, Sara, Gary and Lynsey and cherished granda-great to his seven great-grandchildren.

INGRAM - Peacefully, at Turriff Cottage Hosptial, after a long illness, James McQueen Ingram, 78 years, husband to Rosemary and father to James and the late Rosemary. Funeral was private due to current circumstances.

SMITH (Banff/Keith). John Alexander Gunn (Sandy) passed away peacefully, on Wednesday, 15th July, 2020, at Glenisla Care Home, Keith, with his family by his side. Beloved husband of Isobel, much loved Dad of Susan, Anne and Sandra and adored Grandad of Alistair, Gregor, Ann-Marie, Sandy, John, Elizabeth, Catherine and Lisa. Peacefully at Dr Gray's Hospital, Elgin, on Monday, 13th July, 2020, after a short illness, borne with courage and dignity, Mary Calder (nee Milne) in her 90th year, beloved wife of the late George, (Dod), dearly loved and devoted mum of George and Rea, mother-in-law, loving gran and great-gran, dear sister, sister-in-law, auntie and friend of many. Suddenly at his home, on Saturday, 11th July, 2020, Alexander (Alex) Rutherford, eldest son of the late Alex and Ina Rutherford, dear brother of Derek and Brian, brother-in-law of Moira and Elsa. Suddenly, but peacefully, at ARI, with family at her side, on Tuesday, 7th July, 2020, Anna, aged 87 years, eldest and much-loved grandchild of the late Mrs Jessie Shearer, Markethill, Turriff. A very dearly loved and valued cousin, half cousin and half sister; she was a good and loyal friend whose friendships endured. Anna was known as Nancy within her immediate family but as Anna by all her many friends. She worked all her working life for Stenhouse Insurance Brokers in Aberdeen. Suddenly, but peacefully, at ARI, with family at her side, on Tuesday, 7th July, 2020, Anna, aged 87 years, eldest and much-loved grandchild of the late Mrs Jessie Shearer, Markethill, Turriff. A very dearly loved and valued cousin, half cousin and half sister; she was a good and loyal friend whose friendships endured. Anna was known as Nancy within her immediate family but as Anna by all her many friends. She worked all her working life for Stenhouse Insurance Brokers in Aberdeen. Peacefully at Chalmers Hospital on Wednesday, 1st July, 2020, Esme, aged 91 years, beloved wife of the late Harry, much loved mother to Esme, grandma to Ian and Kay and great-grandma to Harriet and Elliott. A dear sister, aunt and mother-in-law. Will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Grateful thanks to the community care team, staff at both Dounemount and Chalmers Hospital. FORSYTH (Huntly). Peacefully at Rothieden on Saturday, July 4, 2020, Sheila, beloved wife of Jim, much loved mum of Kim, Sammy and Stewart, devoted granny to Mila, a dear sister and sister-in-law of Andrew and Nok. Due to current restrictions Sheila's funeral will be private.

DEY Anne Glenys Lloyd Jones. Sadly on Wednesday, 3rd June. 2020, after a short illness fought with courage and her usual bright smile, Glen slipped away peacefully with family at her side. Born in Holyhead in 1928 the youngest of five children to Annie and William Richard Jones, Glen spent her early life in North Wales. A chance meeting with a young Scot, Alexander Dey (Sandy) began a romance that took her from the Welsh hills to the Scottish Highlands and in 1951 they married at Cairnie Church. Family life followed at 29 Cameron Drive Keith with the arrival of Philip and Christine and they would enjoy days out together, Sandy on his motorbike and Glen squeezed into the sidecar with the bairns. Glen settled comfortably with Keith folk, a fly cup here and there, a wee tipple at Hogmanay, bingo with neighbours, cards and dominoes at The Railway Club. A most generous person throughout her life Glen sent in 1966 a large bingo win of £10 to the Aberfan Disaster Fund. Unfortunately due to work 1969 saw a heart wrenching move to Tonbridge Kent but Keith links carried on with visits and letters. Cards and dominoes continued too where she taught and challenged her six Grandchildren, her kitchen renamed The Gamblers Den, Glen the Domino Queen, her two very young Great Grandchildren sadly now missing out. Warm and fun loving she surprised folk with her collection of comical hats, wigs and glasses, you never knew what a visit would bring! Glen gave 92 years of love to people and animals and will be missed very, very much. At 2pm July 2nd 2020 she will be laid to rest at Tonbridge Cemetery with her beloved Alex, reunited after 25 years. Family flowers only, donations to The Dogs Trust.

LIPPE - (Banff). Died peacefully, with his family, on Friday, 19th June, 2020, Stewart, aged 75 years. Beloved husband of Susan, much loved dad of Karen and John, father-in-law to Norman and Sarah, and a devoted granda. He will be sadly missed by all family and friends. Due to current circumstances, funeral arrangements will be private.

FORDYCE (Turriff). Peacefully at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, on Wednesday, 17th June, 2020, after bravely enduring many years of ill health, Wilma Helen Fordyce (nee Mollison), aged 83 years, beloved and devoted wife of Ronald, loving mum, much loved by son Ronnie and daughter-in-law Carol, and son Craig and partner Eva. Proud and doting granny of Ross and Amy, a dear sister to Billy, sister-in-law, auntie, great-auntie and much-loved friend. Wilma will be sadly missed. Funeral service private in line with current government restrictions.
