Crudie School hosted their annual Christmas concert which was a hit with locals.

Audiences for the two performances saw the youngsters deliver the Inn-spectors play a version of the nativity.

There was also a display from the school’s Streetdance club for the spectators to admire.

The cast of Inn-spectors impressed the audiences that came along.

Head teacher Julia Rickard said: “The story was called The Inn-spectors which we felt was very apt following our visit from the

HMIe inspectors earlier this year!

“Lisa Allen has been providing Streetdance lessons and the club showcased their hard work at the beginning of the concert.”

The evening performance was followed by the first ever Crudie Community Christmas lights switch on which happens thanks to funding towards the trees from King Edward and Gamrie Community Council.

Head of the Crudie Community Garden Committee Colin Reid added: “The switch on of the tree lights went very well with a large number of school pupils, parents, former pupils and local

residents in attendance.

“We were fortunate with the weather, it was cold but it remained dry for the switch on.

“The Christmas trees have generated a lot of very positive comments."
