The generosity of locals, family and parents has provided a welcome boost for local primary school pupils.

High demand for tickets saw pupils at Monquhitter Primary put on three performances of their pantomime in order to cope with the sheer number of locals who wanted to show their support.

Thanks to generous donations of raffle prizes and ticket sales, a total of £1854 was raised for the Friends of Monquhitter group which will be used to fund items for the school.
