A capacity turn out at the Beaton Hall in Methlick at the weekend saw the 75th Methlick Farmers Ball take place.

A company of 202 were in attendance and were welcomed by committe members John Lind, Duncan Mennie, Stewart Fowler, Michael Fotheringham, Colin Presly, Dave Hewitt, Eric Learmonth, Charles French,Brian Gibson and Andrew Connon with apologies from the absent John Catto.

Catering was provided by Harry Fraser Catering and dancing was to Eclipse and as Mr Connon commented: "An excellent evening was had by all."
