Jason being in the top rankings automatically goes into the World Pairs Championship. He enters at the last 16 stage.
He has been drawn with Paul Foster, a fellow Scot, who has won this Championship on five occasions and is seeded no 1 in the World.
The Australian Pair had to come through a tough tournament to qualify.
The winners of this contest enter the quarter finals and will meet Jason Greenslade (England) along with Mike Stepney (Elgin Scotland) or a Qualifier pair next day.
