Winning momentum continues for Turriff United with victory over Clach
Turriff United kept the momentum going from their midweek victory with a 4-1 win against Clachnacuddin on Saturday afternoon.
A strong first half from the hosts saw Ewan Clark, John Allan and Keir Smith all get on the scoresheet.
They extended their lead after the break with a fantastic strike from Callan Gray.
Substitute Alisdair Riddle netted a consolation goal for the visitors near the end of the match.
The game also saw three players sent off with Turriff's Murray Cormack and Fergus Alberts seeing a red card and Clach's Fergus Adams also got his marching orders from referee Scott Donohoe.
United took the lead early when Allan found Clark with a pass and he scored from close range to open the scoring.

Clach had a chance when Martin Callum was through on goal but his shot was blocked by Turriff goalkeeper David Dey.
At the other end Gray made a good run and crossed it low into Clark who was just behind the ball and could not get anything on it.
The home side extended their lead when a ball was played through to Allan who rounded Clach keeper Daniel Rae and fired his shot into the net.
It was 3-0 shortly after when Smith saw his long distance effort soar over the custodian and end up in the goal.
Clach had an opportunity when Harry Hennem hit a decent effort which was saved by Dey.
Turriff ended the first half with a great chance when a shot by Gray was blocked by the goalkeeper, however, he could not hold it and Allan collected the ball at close range and sent his strike wide when it looked easier to score.
After the break the away side had an early opportunity when it opened up for Calum Ferguson who scuffed his shot and Dey was there to save.
United were reduced to 10 men when Cormack received a second yellow card.
Clach then also had a man sent off when Adams was shown a second yellow card for a challenge.
Turriff added to their goal tally when Gray hit a great strike towards goal into the top corner.
The visitors pulled one back when Riddle made a good run and fired a superb effort of his own into the net.
Late on in the match United had another player sent off when Alberts was red carded.
Turriff United manager Dean Donaldson said: "The strikers' link-up play was really good and we caught them a few times with the goals.
"It's pleasing that we are really creating chances which happened in this game and the match against Deveronvale on Wednesday night.
"We did look tired and the three games in a week probably took its toll.
"We gave away a cheap goal, which was frustrating, and there are lots of things we can still improve on.
"We travel to Buckie next in the Highland League Cup and it is one of toughest places to go to."
