There was no hiding the joy in the Vale camp when sub Kyle McKillop-Hall's driven cross was deflected into his own net by Lossiemouth midfielder Ross Morrison for an 89th minute Vale winner.

Watch the winning goal and celebrations below.

Vale had raced into a 2-0 lead in the first half through strikes by Horace Ormsby and Mikey Watson.

But an own goal from Vale captain harry Noble threw Lossie a lifeline before half time.

Lossie then levelled through Ross Elliot's volley and pushed for a winner but it was Vale who snatched all three points at the death.

The Banff men had lost seven and drawn one of their last eight outings since their last win against Keith on October 1.

Manager Stewart rested some players in midweek and Vale were thumped 9-1 by coast neighbours Buckie Thistle in the Aberdeenshire Shield.

The win pulled them further away from the basement zone in the Highland League, with another vital league game at home to second-bottom Strathspey Thistle next weekend.
