The wet and storm weather has claimed two victims on the Highland League football card - with more expected to follow.

Keith's match against Wick Academy was called off due to heavy waterlogging at Kynoch Park.

The picture was the same in Speyside where a soggy MacKessack park meant the cancellation of Rothes' clash with Nairn County.

It completed a miserable end to the week for Nairn who were thrown out of the League Cup after fielding an ineligible player in their 3-0 win at Lossiemouth, who go through instead to the quarter-finals.

Early morning pitch inspections will be held at The Haughs, where Turriff United are due to host Brora Rangers, and at Glebe Park for Forres Mechanics' visit to Brechin City.
