The Coasters haven't conceded a league goal since September 16 and made it three clean sheets in a row and almost 500 minutes of football since keeper Cammy Farquhar was beaten in the league.

Frank McGettrick's side edged out Keith thanks to Ryan Stuart's first half goal for a 1-0 victory.

They recently defeated Wick Academy by the same scoreline, then defeated Strathspey Thistle 3-0 with a trio of early goals.

Elsewhere in the league, Buckie Thistle moved up the table with a 2-0 victory at Inverurie Locos.

Scott Adams netted on 22 minutes and Darryl McHardy's fourth of the season sealed the win.

Champions Brechin City beat Clach with Grady McGrath's third hat-trick of the season inspiring a 6-0 win.

Forres Mechanics held Aberdeenshire Shield finalists Banks O' Dee to a 2-2 draw - see Jonny Clark's match report.

Rothes let a half time lead slip as they went down 3-1 at Turriff United - see Kyle Ritchie's report.

Huntly twice led at Wick Academy through Andy Hunter goals but had to settle for a point in a 2-2 draw.

Perhaps the big win of the weekend was bottom side Strathspey Thistle's 5-2 success over Deveronvale.

It put the first three points on the board for the Grantown outfit.

New signing Liam Shewan put Jags ahead and Jack Davison made it 2-0 on 26 minutes.

Youngster Olek Dlugosz hit back for Vale with two goals either side of half time to level.

But in the closing 15 minutes Davison struck again and late efforts by Ross Logan and Michael McKenzie eased Strathspey to victory.

Formartine United and Brora Rangers played out a six-goal thriller at North Lodge Park with the points shared.

Aberdeen loanee Dylan Lobban's penalty had United ahead before Jordan MacRae and Max Ewan netted in the final ten minutes of the first half to give Brora the lead.

However, Julian Wade equalised in stoppage time, then fired Formartine back in front three minutes after half time.

Ewan levelled on 58 minutes and neither side could find a winner in the final half hour.
