Ellon United found themselves back in action on Saturday as they welcomed visitors Fraserburgh United.

A first half full of action saw both teams have numerous chance to take the lead but no one managed to trouble the score sheet.

The second half saw the home side get off to the more positive start and took the lead on 55minutes in when a low cross was converted by Ben Milne at the far post.

It was still the home side on the attack and they were awarded a free kick on the edge of the box which could well have been a penalty.

The free kick hit the wall and the away side broke quickly and went straight up the pitch and equalised. Fraserburgh continued to push and on 65minutes took the lead with a clean strike.

Ellon had to now push to find an equaliser but in doing so were leaving gaps and the away side took advantage of this with five minutes to go by scoring their third of the game giving them all 3 points.

Final score

ELLON UTD 1- 3 FRASERBURGH UTD
