TURRIFF RFC has announced a series of new training sessions for young players which will start at the Haughs from Sunday, March 17.

A spokesperson for the club said: "After lots of hard work, courses passed, and paperwork behind the scenes, we are delighted to announce that our mini/micro sessions will be starting on Sunday March 17.

"Our coaches are already planning ahead for our first sessions and can’t wait to see some familiar faces and maybe some new ones along too! ".

P1-3 sessions take place from 10am - 11am and P4-7 from 11.30am - 1pm at the rugby pitch in the centre of the Haughs

They contineud: "As this is the beginning of our youth rugby journey, we have decided that these sessions will be FREE of charge until the end of May.

"This gives your child a chance to come and try rugby first and see if they enjoy it without any pressure.

"If you would like to sign your child up to our sessions, please use this link - https://form.jotform.com/240623541794357 - which will take you to our player registration and consent form.

"Each child must be registered via Jotform to ensure everything runs as smoothly and as safely as possible.

"As always, feel free to message our page with any enquiries. Alternatively you can reach our Youth Convener at islajack123@outlook.com.

"We are also keen to start our youth rugby section for S1-6 and are looking into available time slots for coaches.

"If your child fits in this age group please feel free to send us a message and we will keep you informed on details in due course."
