Players sign contract extensions with Turriff United

Turriff United have announced three players have signed contract extensions with the club.

Defenders Ethan Smith and Murray Esson and goalkeeper Tim Findlay have all signed on for a further two years at The Haughs.

Smith (20) originally appeared as a trialist against Strathspey Thistle in August 2018 and the player joined the team after that game.

During his time at the club he has made 22 appearances, 19 of them starts, and scored one goal.

Esson (19) made his first appearance for the club as a substitute against Deveronvale in October 2019.

He has went on to make 13 starts, with 17 appearances in total, and has scored one goal.

Goalkeeper Findlay's first game was as a substitute against Buckie Thistle in February 2020 and he has since made two appearances, one being a start, while he was backup to Fraser Hobday.

The contract extensions come after United announced they signed defender Rhys Clark from Montrose.
