Buckie made it four wins out of four to continue a strong start to their Highlands and Islands ladies football title defence.
A thumping 8-1 victory at home to bottom team Brora Rangers maintained Buckie Ladies’ perfect start.
The team sits in second place in the league behind Orkney Women, who have won all five of their fixtures.
On a cold and damp day at Portgordon’s Gordon Park, Buckie didn’t take long to get on the scoresheet when striker Emily McAuslan fired home with seven minutes on the clock.
Buckie continued to dominate but had to wait until the half hour mark before adding to their tally, McAuslan grabbing her second of the day.
A reminder that Brora weren’t just there to make up the numbers came before half time when the Sutherland outfit found the net from a corner to make the score 2-1 to Buckie at half time.
Buckie stepped up their game and went on the offensive in the second half, with two quick goals by Lori Lappin and McAuslan - for her hat-trick - going a long way towards sealing victory.
The goals kept coming with attacker Alena Gardiner scoring twice, the second from the penalty spot.
Lappin also chipped in with her second goal of the game and the final goal of the match came direct from a corner kick, Abbie Marshall capping a fine display by getting her name on the scoresheet.
Buckie now have a two-week break before their next match at home to Nairn Ladies on May 28.
A week after that comes a top-of-the-table clash away to Orkney Women.
