Pre-season round-up as Lossiemouth strike ten, Buckie Thistle defeat Culter and Deveronvale squander lead late on

Lossiemouth were the big weekend winners as the Highland League season start looms large.

The Coasters beat junior neighbours Lossiemouth United 10-0, adding to seven goals scored at Burghead in midweek.

Doubles for Ryan Farquhar and Ross Archibald and one apiece for new signing Brandon Hutcheson, Lewis McAndrew, Dean Stewart, Ryan Stuart and Ross Elliot eased Frank McGettrick's side to victory.

Elgin City lost 4-1 at Caley Thistle in their latest friendly, just a week ahead of their opening Viaplay Cup group match against Motherwell.

Goals by Scott Adams, Jack Murray, Lyall Keir and Sam Pugh landed Buckie Thistle a 4-2 win over last season's north junior superleague champions Culter.

Deveronvale were 4-1 up at Colony Park before conceding three times in the last few minutes.

Harry Noble, Max Stewart, Horace Ormsby and Kyle Mackillop-Hall got the Vale goals.

Keith lost 2-1 at Tayport with Lewis Coull getting their goal, and Rothes went down 1-0 at home to junior side Stonehaven.
