The two early kick-offs in the Highland League produced comebacks and a feast of goals.

Deveronvale, without a league win since the opening day of the season, took on a Lossiemouth side who had won their last three league contests in a row.

The Banff clash was going to form when Ross Morrison put Lossie ahead after 19 minutes with his fifth goal of the season.

But Vale found another gear and young striker Olek Dlugosz made it three goals in two games to level eight minutes later.

Captain Harry Noble then put Vale in front before half time with a goal against his former club.

Ryan Park grabbed his first goal in Vale colours to seal Deveronvale's first league success in 12 games.

There was plenty of drama in an eight-goal thriller in Inverness where the bottom two sides met.

Strathspey Thistle were on course to climb above hosts Clachnacuddin when they went into a 3-0 half time lead.

Having defeated Deveronvale 5-2 a week earlier, the Grantown men rediscovered their shooting boots with goals by Liam Shewan, Daniel Whitehorn and former Clach man Ross Logan.

Clach hit back through a Fergus Adams strike and an own goal to make it 3-2 to Thistle.

Connor Bunce then made it 3-3 with nine minutes to go, only for Jack Davison to restore Strathspey's lead within a minute.

But Bunce made sure Strathspey stay bottom with a stoppage time leveller in a 4-4 draw.
