Inverurie Locos manager Dean Donaldson has made his first signing for the club.
He has brought in 17-year-old striker Gregor Zimmerman, who came through the youth ranks at Aberdeen.
Zimmerman was released by the Dons and began training with Locos recently and has won a contract.
He came on as substitute in Wednesday night's 1-0 Highland League win at Forres Mechanics for his Locos debut.
Donaldson said on the club's website: "I'm delighted to get Gregor in with us. He's a talent and one we are really looking forward to working with.
"Gregor is hungry to impress and knows exactly where the net is, he will be a top player in due course."
Zimmerman replaced Cove Rangers loan striker Myles Gaffney, who scored the only goal of the game after 14 minutes at Mosset Park.
Another 17-year-old Locos player, full back Milosz Ochmanski put in a man of the match performance in the victory.
