The Highlands and Islands League and cup double champions, along with their under-16 set-up, are keen to welcome fresh faces before their respective leagues start at a date yet to be confirmed in February or March.

The senior team train at Gordon Park in Portgordon on Tuesday evenings from 6.30pm-8pm and play in the Highlands and Islands League with games usually held on a Sunday.

Meanwhile, the under-16s train at the same venue and time on Wednesdays and play on Saturdays in the SWF North.

New players are welcome just to pop along to the appropriate training session.

The club are also on the lookout for a permanent manager. Previous manager Mel Smith signed off her spell last year in the Buckie Ladies hotseat as league champions and League Cup winners – the club's first ever trophies – and the post is currently being filled on a temporary basis by her former assistant, Laura Duncan.

Buckie Ladies also host a ladies recreational football session on a Friday evening at Portgordon between 7pm-8pm. This is aimed at over-18s who want to play smaller sided games and is a bit of non-competitive fun. The cost is £2 per session.

For more information on these opportunities, visit Buckie Ladies Facebook page.
