Manager Craig Ewen had agreed a deal earlier this summer with tall striker Mikey Taylor, whose contract with Aberdeen junior side Sunnybank expired at the end of June.

The Maroons have also brought in full back Liam Cheyne from Turriff United on a three-year deal.

Cheyne (26) was on the books of Buckie Thistle as a youngster and also had a season at Deveronvale before joining Turriff a year ago.

Taylor has had spells at Turriff, Cove and Banks O' Dee in the earlier part of his career, and was a regular goal getter with Sunnybank over the past four seasons.

Ewen has also brought in winger Craig Gill from Inverurie Locos and defender Murray Addison from Formartine United during the close season.
