Inverurie Locos have signed goalkeeper Jamie Shingler from Aberdeen FC.
Shingler (18) was part of the youth set-up at the Dons and played for the under 18 squad. He also had a short loan spell at Keith last season.
The keeper has signed a three-year contract with the Railwaymen.
Locos manager Richard Hastings said: “We are delighted to have secured Jamie’s signature. He’s a talented young goalkeeper who, through Aberdeen FC, has had a good grounding in the game.
"When our goalkeeping coach John Farquhar brought Jamie to my attention, and subsequently to pre-season training shortly thereafter, it was clear to see he has the attributes we specifically look for in this department, and so moved quickly to make him a further addition to our squad."
Meanwhile, goalkeeper Morgan Cook has left Locos to sign for junior side Dyce FC.
He played five times for the Harlaw Park side and also spent time on loan at Colony Park and Ellon United.
Hastings added: "Morgan, a long serving product from our youth system, moves to Dyce on a permanent deal to pursue his ambition of becoming a club's number one goalkeeper and playing on a regular basis.
"This is something we unfortunately could not guarantee him. Being a number two goalkeeper is never an easy role and we can only say how dedicated and professional Morgan has been throughout his time with the club.
"We now understand and respect his decision and so naturally he departs with our thanks and best wishes for the future."
