Team GB regulars Andrew Musgrave and Andrew Young took a shot at roller ski racing over four days at the annual Blink festival in Sandness, Norway.

The British squad taking part in Scandinavia claimed a great win in the sprint to round out a strong set of results for the team.

Musgrave finished third in the Lyseboten Up Hill (mountain) double pole race, and the following day he was pipped to victory as he finished second in the 50k Classic race.

It was the turn of the sprinters on the Saturday as Young and Olympic Team GB team-mate James Clugnet each won their quarter-final and semi-final races and looked in great shape.

A British one-two was on the cards in the final until Young broke a pole and had to settle for fourth spot, with Clugnet going on to win.

Young said it was a great festival for the British team.

"We all had some good results and showed good form," he said.

"I was disappointed to break my pole in the final. But my prolog speed and physical shape are right where they need to be at this stage before the winter.

"It was great to compete in front of big crowds again and the atmosphere was fantastic."
