Fraserburgh stay ahead in title race and Keith end losing run

Keith ended their six game losing run with a hard earned 1-0 win against Lossiemouth on Wednesday night.

Aberdeen loanee Finn Yeats scored in the 80th minute to secure the win at Kynoch Park. The result sees Keith leapfrog the Coasters into 14th.

Fraserburgh kept their noses ahead in the race to be crowned league champions this season with a 2-0 win away to Brora Rangers.

Goals from William West and Ryan Sargent in the opening 15 minutes at Dudgeon Park secured the win and kept the Broch on track for their first league title since 2002.

Forres Mechanics bounced back from last weekend's narrow loss to Rothes by thumping Fort William 4-0 at Mosset Park.

An Alan Macphee brace and goals from Paul Brindle and Ben Barron wrapped up a comfortable win for the Cans.

Huntly edged a tight encounter with Nairn County 2-1 at Station Park.

Robbie Foster fired Huntly into an early lead before John Treasurer bundled in an equaliser.

The hosts were reduced to 10 men at the start of the second half when Ciaran Young was dismissed before Huntly's Gavin Elphinstone and Kyle Dalling followed suit. Huntly snatched the win through a late Jack MackIver strike.

Jonathan Smith's winner for Formartine United against Clach in a narrow 1-0 win ensured United stay hot on the heels of fifth placed Rothes.

Meanwhile, Garry Wood scored the winner for Brechin City in a 1-0 against Inverurie Locos at Glebe Park. The win keeps City's faint hopes of winning the league alive as they remain third, four points behind Fraserburgh.
