Huntly hit form to put Lossiemouth's revival off track with a 4-1 victory at Grant Park.

Ryan McRitchie rescued a draw for Rothes.

The on-form Coasters were brushed aside by a second half goal blitz from Allan Hale's men, who climbed out of the bottom three with their second victory of the campaign.

It took 55 minutes for the deadlock to be broken by Huntly defender Lyall Booth, closely followed by a second when Lossie defender Ryan O'Halloran put through his own goal.

Late efforts by Cameron Blacklock (pen) and Andy Hunter rendered Dean Stewart's spot kick for the home side to be no more than a consolation.

Forres Mechanics were defeated for the fourth game running as Banks O' Dee picked up their fourth consecutive win in their debut Highland League season.

Two second half goals by Marc Young and sub Jack Henderson eased the Aberdeen side to full points.

Rothes trailed hosts Wick Academy 1-0 at the break to a Ryan Campbell goal, before Ryan McRitchie's 72nd minute strike earned a point for the Speysiders.

Turriff United picked up another convincing Banffshire derby success over Deveronvale as Aaron Reid's hat-trick inspired a 5-1 win at The Haughs.

Reece McKeown struck first for United and Reid made it 2-0 before Horace Ormsby's first goal in Vale colours reduced the deficit.

Vale keeper Sean McIntosh then saved a Ewan Clark penalty as it remained 2-1 at half time.

Clark made amends by netting United's third on the hour and Reid added two more to take his tally for the season to 11 and take Turriff up to eight place.

Title chasers Fraserburgh and Brora Rangers went head-to-head at Bellslea Park.

Broch were two-up at the break with Connor Wood and Scott Barbour scoring, but Brora hit back for a 2-2 draw when Max Ewan and Andy Macrae netted, after Fraserburgh had Sean Butcher sent off.

Strathspey Thistle were two minutes away from picking up their first win of the season before Inverurie Locos snatched a late equaliser.

Fergus Alberts put Locos ahead at the break but the Grantown men hit back to lead when Jack Davidson and Liam Taylor scored.

Rob ward's 88th minute effort rescued a draw for the Aberdeenshire outfit.

Formartine United went third after coming from behind for a 3-1 win at Clachnacuddin.

Shaun Sutherland's Clach opener was cancelled out by a Julian Wade leveller right on half time.

United came good in the closing six minutes as Danail Dimov's first goal for the club and a last-gasp Scott Lisle strike landed all three points.

The top two were in cup action with Buckie Thistle and Brechin City both going down fighting in the SPFL Trust Trophy.

Brechin's run of 21 consecutive victories in all competitions since February was ended by Championship side Caley Thistle in a penalty shootout.

The Inverness side led 3-1 before two late efforts from Grady McGrath and Euan Spark took the tie into a shootout, which Caley Thistle won 4-3.

Buckie led Northern Ireland league champions Linfield 2-1 at Victoria Park before the ten-man Ulstermen hit back for a 2-1 success.

Linfield had Chris Shields sent off in the first half and went behind when Marcus Goodall's long range lob found the net on 54 minutes.

But two strikes in a minute by Joel Cooper and Niall Quinn with 15 minutes left won it for the visitors.
