Buchanhaven Hearts were the visitors only to find themselves on the wrong end of a 4-0 hammering, left winger Brodie Christie completing the misery.

Rovers co-manager Kyle Mackay said: "We can't turn guys like Nikki Smith down.

"We put him straight in and it paid off.

"I think we dominated the game throughout and were good value for our win.It was a good team performance all round although Nikki getting a hat-trick on his return was special. Brodie also worked very hard and deserved his goal."

It'll be a case if deja vu this Saturday when Buchanhaven once again come to Buckie, this time on Quest Engineering Inter-regional Cup Round 2 duty. Kick-off 2pm.
