Inverurie Loco Works FC have announced their new manager Richard Hastings will take control at Harlaw after the recent departure of Andy Low.
He has signed an initial three year deal at Harlaw Park and will attend tonight’s Breedon Highland League match against Rothes, before taking charge of the side for the first time, against Fraserburgh at Bellslea Park on Saturday.
A spokesman for the club, who broke the news on their social media page said: "The new gaffer had a successful sixteen year senior playing career at club level, most notably including three hundred and fifty eight appearances for Inverness Caledonian Thistle, as well as spells at Ross County and Hamilton Accies.
"Richard also played for Grazer AK & MVV Maastricht.
"He represented Canada with distinction, earning fifty nine caps and winning the 2000 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
"The UEFA ‘A’ licensed coach was Head Coach of Inverness Caledonian Thistle’s Under 17s for five years and was also Head of the Youth Academy Programme and Under 18 Head Coach at Ross County."
The new Railwaymen boss said: “I am absolutely delighted to be joining Inverurie Loco Works FC as their new manager and am excited to get started.
