Garioch lose out as Turriff progress in bowling Team Championship

Aberdeen beat Garioch in the Team Championship 2nd round which was held in Arbroath writes Mike Barron.

Both the Triples and Fours won but the Singles and Pairs lost.

The count back of scores saw a final result of Garioch 60 - Aberdeen 64.

Scores were-

Singles (Lee Mair) lost 15-21.

Pairs (Angela Banks and Steve Buchanan) lost 10-21.

Triples (Scott Mackie, Carla Banks and Brian Reid) won 15-10.

Fours (Joan Western, Jillian Christie, Ash Canale and Gary MacDonald) won 20-12.

Turriff beat Arbroath and meet Aberdeen for a place in the semi-final.
