At present Carla Banks (Garioch), Gemma Forrest (Abbeyview) and Lisa Barrett (West Lothian) jointly share the Scottish Junior Internationalist record of caps.

All three have 30 caps at under 25. Carla’s first was in 2013. She has been a captain of the Scottish team and this will be Carla’s last year as a junior.

Forrest is now over age, as is Barrett who last played in 2016. Neither can play again at under 25.

With Carla competing for Scotland in Belfast on February 10 and 11 against Wales, Ireland and England she will then have 33 caps a Scottish Junior all time record this century.

Carla has been an outstanding ambassador for Garioch Indoor Bowling Club.
