Match between Clachnacuddin and Inverurie Locos in Inverness stopped for 30 minutes after player taken to hospital with concussion

Inverurie Locos winger Nathan Meres has been released from hospital after suffering concussion against Clachnacuddin in Inverness.

The match was stopped for 30 minutes after he suffered a head injury around the 60 minute mark.

Meres was taken to Raigmore Hospital Accident and Emergency Department after suffering the injury.

Inverurie Locos released a statement at 9pm saying Meres was given the all clear to be released from hospital.

They said: "Nathan is out of A&E with scans all clear but obvious concussion.

"We would like to say a big thank you to both Physios, Referee Gordon Morrison, Stuart Gordon and Raigmore A&E Department for their assistance with this incident."

Inverurie Locos won the match 3–1.
