Highland League football decimated by weather but Buckie Thistle's match against Inverurie Locos at Victoria Park is on

BUCKIE Thistle's home clash with Inverurie Locos is the only surviving Highland League fixture today.

The match at Victoria Park is the only one of five scheduled league games to beat the weather.

Forres Mechanics home game against Fraserburgh was postponed after a morning inspection, as was Huntly's rearranged game against Fort William at Christie Park.

Brora Rangers v Formartine United and Wick Academy v Strathspey Thistle are also off.

In the SPFL, Elgin City's away game at Albion Rovers is on after the Reigart Stadium pitch passed a 7.30am inspection.

In north junior football, Burghead Thistle's North Regional Cup tie at home to Stonehaven is still on.

Deveronside's Superleague trip to Culter has also survived the weather along with Buckie Rovers' Division 1 visit to Longside.

Dufftown's home game against Division 1 leaders is off along with the Division 2 games between Islavale and Newmachar United, Spey Valley United and Forres Thistle, and Whitehills and New Elgin.
