Scottish Cup second round draw: Forres Mechanics draw Buckie Thistle while Elgin City face former players at Jeanfield Swifts

Forres Mechanics will meet Buckie Thistle in the second round of the Scottish Cup following Sunday's draw.

The Cans, who needed penalties to beat North Caledonian League minnows Golspie on Saturday, host Jags who won 4-0 at Tayport.

Elgin City will encounter several familiar faces when they visit East of Scotland League Jeanfield Swifts.

The Perth side, who were once managed by former City boss Gavin Price, have several ex-Elgin players in their ranks.

Ex-City striker Chris McLeish scored in Swifts' 3-1 success at Wick Academy, with former Borough Briggs colleagues Chris Dodd, Scott Smith and Aaron Whitehead also in their squad.

Squad members Keiron Stewart, Connor McLaren and Olly Hamilton have also been on City's books as permanent or loan signings in the past.

Huntly will host League 2 Forfar Athletic while Deveronvale are at home to Broxburn Athletic.

Turriff United visit Cumnock Juniors.
