Floodlight failure ends Formartine's clash with Locos at half time

BRECHIN City remain in pole position in the Highland League by one point after their top of the table clash against Banks O’Dee was postponed due to an unplayable pitch at Glebe Park.

Formartine United remain third after their match against Inverurie Locos was abandoned at half time due to floodlight failure at North Lodge Park with the score 1-1.

Buckie are up to fourth after they thrashed Forres 8-1 at Mosset Park.

Max Barry put Buckie ahead after 22 minutes but Shaun Morrison levelled nine minutes before the break.

However, a Darryl McHardy double and Josh Peters strike gave Buckie a 4-1 lead at half time.

Jack Murray scored two penalties with further goals from Scott Adams and Lyall Keir.

Fraserburgh beat Keith 3-0 with goals coming from a Scott Barbour double and strike from Ryan Sargent.

Huntly won 3-1 at Lossiemouth with Andrew Hunter giving the visitors the lead before Brandon Hutcheson equalised. Goals from Alexander Thoirs and Robbie Foster in the second half gave Huntly victory.

Nairn County won 3-0 at Rothes with goals from Ross Tokely, Aaron Nicolson, and Andrew MacLeod.

Clachnacuddin fired 8 past Wick for no return to win 8-0.

Turriff v Deveronvale and Strathspey Thistle v Brora were postponed.
