Deveronvale announce Craig Park as their new assistant manager as midfielder Sam Bashua signs

DEVERONVALE have announced a former Inverness Caledonian Thistle and Ross County coach as their new assistant manager.

Inverness-based Craig Park was confirmed as Craig Stewart’s number two last week.

Park said: “I’m delighted to have been given the opportunity to assist Craig.

"The players and staff at the club have made me feel very welcome and I look forward to the season ahead.”

Stewart added: “Craig and I went through our UEFA C Licences together. We share a football philosophy and ideas on how the team should be developed. I’m really pleased Craig has accepted the role.”

Deveronvale have also added midfielder Sam Bashua to their squad, with the 27-year-old signing a two-year deal. Bashua was last with Meridian Valley Park of the Southern Counties East League in England.

In addition, three youth players have moved up the ’Vale first team. Jaydan Bradford, Jay Goldie and Antonio Jam (all 17) have signed after impressing as the under-18s won the Highland League.

Kyle Willox and Sam Robertson have left the club. Willox is moving to Banks o’ Dee and Robertson to Bridge of Don Thistle.
