Buckie Thistle have asked for an earlier-than-planned return to their Victoria Park home this weekend - but the request has puzzled opponents Clachnacuddin.
Jags have been forced to play home matches at alternative venues after drainage issues on their own pitch led to a series of postponements.
Buckie's recent home games have been played at Deveronvale's Princess Royal Park in Banff and Grant Park in Lossiemouth, the latter being the chosen venue for tomorrow's fixture against Clach.
But the Inverness club say learned last night that Buckie, who haven't played at Victoria Park since November 18, may have their home park playable and have requested that the game be played there.
But if Victoria Park fails a pitch inspection, the game will go ahead at Lossiemouth as originally planned.
Clach are unhappy that they will only learn the venue of their fixture on the morning of the match.
In a club statement, the Inverness club said: "Last night, we received news from both the league and Buckie Thistle Football Club that Saturday's fixture could now possibly be played at Victoria Park, Buckie Thistle, rather than Grant Park, Lossiemouth as previously agreed.
"This will be dependant on an early morning pitch inspection tomorrow.
"We as a club understand any frustrations that this may cause with fans, with the opinion that we should know where our match fixture should be played with more than an eight-hour notice period.
"All updates will be shared with fans as soon as we hear them."
Buckie were due to return to Victoria Park next Wednesday for a home match against Lossiemouth, which had not been scheduled to be played at any other ground.
