A dramatic back nine saw Mackay ahead by a couple of shots, until he found some tree trouble on the 13th hole.

Orton then turned the play-off around and found himself leading by two on the 18th and final hole.

But more drama unfolded as Orton found trouble on the last and Mackay took full advantage.

He made birdie on the 18th to steal the win from under Orton’s nose, securing what is his second title at Keith Golf Club.
