Jags won an all-Highland League clash with Brora Rangers at Victoria Park on Wednesday night after a 1-1 draw after 90 minutes.

Keeper Lee Herbert was the Buckie hero, saving kicks by Gregor Macdonald and Jordan Macrae while Buckie scored all of their kicks to progress 4-2 in the shoot-out.

Josh Peters' seventh goal since his move from Elgin City put the home side just after half time, before Andy Macrae netted his own eighth of the campaign to level with 20 minutes left.

Elgin beat Stenhousemuir 3-1 on Tuesday night to progress to round three and a second Highland League team joined Buckie in the draw as Brechin edged out Stirling Albion at Glebe Park.

Marc Scott's 11th minute strike gave Brechin a half time lead until Dale Carrick levelled for the League Two outfit.

In the final minute Stirling were awarded a penalty but Brechin keeper Lenny Wilson saved Jack Leitch's kick.

This tie also went into a shoot-out and Seth Patrick fired home Brechin's winning kick for a 6-5 success.

The draw for the third round takes place on Monday.
