Buckie Thistle and Elgin City in SPFL Trust Trophy third round draw

The draw for the last 32 of the SPFL Trust Trophy takes place at 1pm today.
Elgin City and remaining Highland League pair Buckie Thistle and Brechin City could draw opponents from Northern Ireland or Wales.
Elgin defeated Dundee United B 1-0 in the first round then beat League 2 rivals Stenhousemuir 3-1 last Tuesday.
Buckie ousted fellow Highland League side Brora Rangers on penalties, having knocked out Hearts B 3-2 in round one.
Brechin have beaten Hibernian B and Stirling Albion, the latter in a penalty shootout last Wednesday.
Linfield and Cliftonville enter the draw from Northern Ireland along with Welsh pair The New Saints and Caernarfon Town
The draw for the third round will be shown live on the SPFL YouTube channel.
There is no seeding at this stage of the competition but the four clubs from Northern Ireland and Wales will be drawn against Scottish teams.
Third-round ties are due to be played on the weekend of September 24/25.
