For Jags' William Hill Scottish Cup second round clash at Bonnyrigg Rose is being screened on the BBC Scotland channel.

The match will take place on Friday, October 18 with a 7.05pm kick-off.

It will be the first time in Buckie's history that one of their games has been televised live.

Manager Graeme Stewart said: "We are delighted with it. The club makes a bit extra money and it'll be a buzz for the players.

"It lifts the profile of the club and the Highland League and gives us a wee bit of exposure over Scotland."

The tie is being billed as the clash of the Lowland League and Highland League leaders.

Buckie defeated Civil Service Strollers 4-1 at Victoria Park on Saturday to progress in the competition.

Former junior side Bonnyrigg only stepped up to the senior football ranks in 2018, winning the East of Scotland League to gain promotion to the Lowland League.

The Midlothian side are currently top of the league with six wins and a draw in their opening eight fixtures.
