Buckie Cricket Club looks for new players

BUCKIE Cricket Club is hoping to add new players over the winter.

The club brought the curtain down on its Blackdog Financial Services league campaign in disappointing fashion when intended visitors Fort William could not raise a team.

Buckie were awarded the 20 points and that confirmed a second place finish.

A concern this season was the state of Linzee Gordon Park, with flooding meaning the club was only able to play two of its home games there, with the grounds at Fochabers and Elgin used as emergency venues.
