Banff Rugby Club take on Mackie Academy this weekend in penultimate Tennent’s Caledonia North Region Division 2 fixture

RUGBY returns to Banff this weekend as the end of the Tennent’s Caledonia North Region Division 2 season looms large.

On Saturday, Banff RFC play host to Mackie Academy in their penultimate match of the campaign at Duff House Grounds, kick off 2pm.

It signals a return to playing for the coast outfit following a series of enforced cancellations in a disjointed but encouraging season.

A club spokesperson said: "Player strength is good and spirits high. The lads hope to avenge the heavy loss at Stonehaven earlier this season."
