Both Inverurie and Rothienorman outdoor bowling clubs have had some fine performances this season, and are doing well in a number of competitions, but who will come out on top?

The Aberdeen & Kincardine Top Five Singles final features both Rothie and Inverurie, Rothie meet Huntly and Inverurie Ladies meet Newhills in the final of Cromallie Cup, and they both feature in semi-final of the A & K Top Ten.

The A & K Final of Top Five Singles is at Kemnay at 7pm on Friday, July 7 and the winners go on to meet Melrose in early August.

Inverurie will probably start favourites with a very strong pool of players.

The players taking the green will be Colin Banks, Jason Banks, Gary Macdonald, Stuart Buist, and Barry Sangster.

Rothie have not formally announced their players, but Gordon Cruickshank, Mark Campbell, Neil Burnett, James Harper all won well in their semi-final against Laurencekirk.

Ian Moir was narrowly beaten in a 4-1 score and it is unlikely there are any changes!.
