Throughout the month of June, James Airzee challenged himself to run every day in hopes of raising £100 for Inverurie and District Men’s Shed.

He had already smashed his target after just one week collecting more than £500 from friends and family and a final total saw him collect a fantastic £1230.

Chairman of Inverurie And District Men's Shed Archie Peebles said: “Your 30 day marathon has been a fantastic effort, words are beyond us for what you have done with your fantastic fundraising activity and you are brave beyond words to have taken this on".

James said: "It has been tough some days getting up early, but I am glad I managed it."

Men's Shed is an internations organisation which supports men's mental wellbeing through social interaction and skill sharing, and Inverurie's is one of more than 150 sheds in Scotland.
