IDFC, run by Scottish Youth Football Association certified and PVG checked volunteers, now have teams for children born in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016. IDFC are also currently in the process of creating a 2017 team.

The evening focussed on recognising the achievements and participation of each of the 88 children currently registered with the club.

Treasurer for the club Debbie Campbell said: "The club has grown significantly over the last year and it is with thanks to all the volunteers, committee members, coaches, first aiders, and parents who dedicate a significant amount of their time to the club.

"The evening was only made possible by the generosity of many local businesses and parents providing raffle prizes.

"A further thank you to sponsors of the club; Diamond Drainage, Kellockbank, Alba Motor Engineering, Innovent Technology, Tocherford Smiddy, Audacious BF83, Avis and Keith Partnership, Harper Contracts Insch Limited and McWilliam Lippe Architects. Sponsorship provides the children with football kits and equipment and allows all volunteers to attend the required training courses.

"A final thank you also to Graeme Barber of Alford for supplying food which was well received by all."

If anyone is interested in joining IDFC or just wants more information, please contact them through their Facebook page (inschanddistrictfc).
